Zyxel VMG8324-B10A - static IP, firmware update and bridge mode

Hello and sorry that I don't write in Polish - I just can't do it!

I got the Zyxel VMG8324-B10A (firmware 1.00(AATY.1)b8_0509) router because I absolutely need a

static IP for my small company in Wroclaw. I have access from my LAN to the Internet - so far everything works.

However, I cannot access my LAN from the Internet via vpn.
I have always had routers that worked in "bridge mode" and did not interfere in the routing - this option

does not seem to exist with the current firmware. Even single or double NAT have not led to success.

I found other (and newer) firmware files for the router on the Internet. These versions explicitly offer the

"bridge mode" function for the WAN interface.

Question:
Can I update this firmware? Does the router then automatically configure itself via the Internet line or do

I have to make settings by hand?
Apparently there is currently no way to save the configuration to a file.

@herb72 uploading new unauthorized software may cause router malfunction or damage. You make such updates at your own risk.

After uploading the software, all settings in the router must be made again manually. The router will be set to default parameters.
